“Working with LaJoy was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding vendors! It didn’t hurt any that she came highly regarded from our planners as they utilize her services themselves; so it was a great relief to feel at ease knowing that our choice in photographer (made over a year in advance of our big day!) would no doubt result in amazing photos. And we were not disappointed! We were fortunate enough to be able to have an engagement shoot about a year in advance of the big day - and that was the most amazing test drive of what the real thing would be like. She traveled to our undergrad college campus where we met to shoot us there - and it wasn’t until a couple hours later when we thought to ask “is this how long these shoots usually ask?”; to which she let us know that our 2-ish hours was definitely not the norm lol; but she was enjoying our energy (and vice versa) and also all the interesting photo opp locations we pre-planned (as well as getting some inspiration along the way herself) - we genuinely had such a fun time together!
